'A tranquil family-run boutique residential care Home specialising in dementia care'

HOMELY

We strive to make Lime Tree Court a home away from home. This is key to make the transition of our residents as they move from their private homes into residential care.

We aim to provide a homely environment, different to many of the 'new build' care homes

which we feel can be clinical and lack 'soul'. Lime Tree Court is located in a beautiful village, the original building being over 700 years old.

'Our residents do not live in the staff's workspace, the staff work in the residents home'.

PERSONAL

Care must be personal and reflect the needs of the individual. We understand the needs of all of our residents and deliver person centred care. The needs of everyone who lives here, their likes and dislikes are understood and care is perfectly tailored to all them.

We don't believe that 'one size fits all' and take time to understand the needs of all of our residents and work with them and their family to assess and tailor our care to their requirements.

Every resident is different, every day is different, every need is different.

FRIENDLY / CARING

Lime Tree Court has remained in the same family for the past 45 years. It is not part of a corporation or chain. We consider the staff part of our family, and when our residents come into

the home you also become part of our family.

Lime Tree Court is full of smiles, laughter, and visitors are always welcome. We also work closely with the local community, this includes visits to the local school, regular church services in the home and even visits to the pub and village shop.

TRANQUIL

Lime Tree Court is located in a small village, at the end of a lane, next to the village church, as picturesque of a location that you could hope for. When you walk through the gate, see the ivy clad building you will feel the sense of tranquillity and calm, which will give you the comfort that this is a lovely place to live.

Within Lime Tree Court you will find many quiet corners, a beautiful enclosed garden and

16 bedrooms with two lounges and a dining room. The lounges and dining room have view of

our beautiful enclosed garden where some of the residents like to sit and watch the birds.

You can imagine, one of the resident cats on your lap, a cup of tea or coffee appears and as you relax into the armchair, you sit and watch the country garden and the changing seasons.

DEMENTIA

We specialise in the care of individuals with dementia. The staff have worked with indivdiual's

with dementia for many years, and Lime Tree Court has, for over 40 years, specialised in the care of people with dementia.

We understand the best way to care for those living with dementia and constantly look for ways to stimulate the senses and respond to the residents needs. This includes working with our activities coordinator to provide visual aids / memory triggers and pets (including our resident cats and miniature daschund) are used to help with the complex needs of the indivdiual's who live here.

We have close links with our local health community and work with the local GP's, district nurses and hospitals to work with them to find solutions for the individuals who live with us.
